We are happy to announce that Invivox trainer, Prof. Alain Cribier, has been nominated for the Lefoulon-Delande Grand Prize from the Foundation de l’Institute de France. The former Head of the Cardiology Department and the current Director of the Medical Training Center at the CHU in Rouen, France has had an illustrious career in cardiology.
In 1985, Prof. Alain Cribier invented a balloon dilatation technique of the calcified aortic stenosis, which led his implantation of to the world’s first balloon aortic valvuloplasty in 2002. Today we are honored to say that Prof. Cribier is teaching his TAVI technique with the help of Invivox.
